My Current Makeup Routine

Lately, I’ve been really focused on improving my makeup routine and techniques. I’m on a journey to create a signature look the kind of look where, when you see my pictures, you immediately know it’s me.

One technique that’s been a total game-changer is applying blush first, then layering a lighter concealer under my eyes. It makes such a big difference in how lifted and fresh my face looks. Right now, I’m using  NYX Can’t Stop Won’t Stop Concealer in Golden Honey. (insert product), and I love the results.

Blush

I’ve been missing an old favorite: MAC’s Razin powder blush. It’s a golden-reddish shade that works beautifully year-round but feels especially perfect for the fall and winter months. At the same time, I’ve been hearing so many good things about Rhode’s Toasted Teddy, and I think both will be staples in my collection this season.

Of course, blush isn’t complete without the right brush. I used to own the perfect MAC blush brush, but after losing it, I’ve been on the hunt for something just as good ideally a brush that can handle both powder and liquid blush. The search continues!

Setting Powder

A few weeks ago, I received a package from Sasha Beauty Cosmetics. If you know, you know their yellow setting powder used to be the go-to for makeup lovers everywhere, myself included. When they reached out to send it over, I was so excited.

Sure, countless powders have come out since this powder , but honestly? I still think this one is top-tier. It sets beautifully and keeps my makeup looking smooth and flawless.

Makeup is always evolving, and so is my routine but I love rediscovering old favorites while trying new techniques. What makeup products have you been reaching for lately
