"Beauty Without Depth Is Just Decoration"- Unknown
I kept hearing that quote play over and over in my head for the past two weeks. As it kept repeating I began to really question what does this quote really mean. That's when the pen and paper was pulled out and my thoughts began to form.
My opinion to this quote is that there has to be more to you than just outer beauty. Outer beauty is all good until its time to get down to what you stand for and having an exceptional personality. You have to have a voice because in this world you can't let society or anyone silence your beliefs.
Self Reflection:
What do I stand for? What are my beliefs? Do I really have a voice?
Then I said to myself I do have a voice, My Blog and YouTube Channel is a way for me to let my voice be heard. There was a time when I didn't want my voice to be heard. I just wanted to stay silent and be bonded by fear, but.......

I would also second guess myself at times putting up "Selfies" up on social media because I didn't want to seem vain or I didn't want people to think I was just another self-centered girl who has a Blog or YouTube Channel. I also feared that people would think I was insecure because I wear makeup as well. But behind all the makeup,blog and YouTube channel I have a voice and I know what I stand for.
Conclusion:
In this day in age you've got to be more than just your physical appearance. Study your history, know your beliefs, and let your voice be heard. Society wants us all to be silent especially women. Have a thirst for knowledge because knowing and learning more can prepare you for the future. Be more and strive for better everyday. Remember a mind is a terrible thing to waste.

ReplyDeleteDIY. If you want to try and cut down on the expense of some of the decorating, you can indicate to the interior decorator this preference. For example, if you like to paint, and do it well, there should be no reason you can't paint a project room yourself.Showerdrape
