Hey ya'll! I haven't been on this of the internet in a while, but I'm here. This past week has been eventful to say the least. I thought I'd share a few favorite moments for this past week to get me back on track of blogging. I've been kind of out of since getting over COVID. I feel like I'm getting back to myself but taking it a day at a time.
1. Madam Vice President Kamala Harris
Watching this moment happen was so historic or shall I say Herstoric! Kamala Harris it the first woman to be Vice President not only Woman but Woman of color. This goes to show you how far we've come as a nation. Listening to her college friends and family friends speak so highly of her and how hard she worked inspired me. It left me thinking this is what happens when you work hard even when it looks rough.
2. Michelle Obama
Ya' ll already knew how bomb Michelle looked on Inauguration Day! I mean from head to toe she looked amazing. She has me wanting to get another silk press with some body curls honey!
3. Dress for Success
On Inguartion Day my school had a theme "Dress for Success". So I decided to dress like my VP with a twist. She is known for wearing chucks and pearls. I didn't have any chucks but I put on my new pair of Jordan's and paired it with my outfit. I think it turned out really cute.
4.Living for The Moment
On Tuesday night Timothy and went to dinner at a new spot. After getting over COVID it definitely opened my eyes to living and not just exsiting. It's time for me to stop saying 'oh I'll just do it tomorrow" or "it can wait". Sometimes I feel like I miss many opportunities because I kept putting things off. But not anymore. Normally on weeknights I get off come home, we eat dinner and go to sleep. But we switched things up and tried something new.
