Saturday Vibes

Saturday Vibes,

A day out with my love, from Target to the Community Thrift Store to Walgreens. I decided to hit up Target for a few things, coconut oil and   a new makeup brush. We then ventured over to the Community Thrift Store where I purchased items for Fall. Last stop was Walgreens  where I  picked up two nail polishes for an awesome price 99 cents to be exact.

Lately I've been wanting to Detox my life. I feel as if there's still too much flesh and not enough HIM. At one point of my life I thought the greatest achievements in life was  having the latest clothing, shoes, etc.   I began to realize that you can have all the money  and material things in the world and still feel empty. I'll never forget reading The Great Gatsby in high school  and how it left a powerful message in my mind. Mr. Gatsby had the biggest house and threw the most extravagant parties filled with people who didn't even knew who he was but they heard of him. On the day of his funeral not one of the many people who attended his parties were insight at his funeral. This goes to show you that you can have everything and still feel empty.

"Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said,“Never will I leave you;   never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

I'm not here to preach but I'm just here to share what GOD has done for me. If you ever feel lonely just know that you aren't.
